I'm addressing everyone, here, at Asking Jude... What do you do to stay positive? I really want to hear about this. I try to take two walks every day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I stay away, as much as possible, from radio phone-in talk shows, as it tends to get too crazy. I listen to a great deal of music (all kinds). I watch a little broadcast television news, usually in the morning, with the sound off and a transistor radio playing music in the background, I write letters to people with whom I have a correspondence, I try to watch at least one movie per week, and I write. I'm a writer. I write fiction and non-fiction...

Thank you for the feedback. I carry a packet with me when I am out and about and when I go through a positive experience, I add it to my packet. True story...
Well, staying positive can be pretty different for everyone.
For example, I sually try to listen to my inner self, I started with meditation a few months ago (maybe a year?) but not as something for spiritual travels or anything like that, I only close my eyes, stay in a comfortable position and start listening to my body, to my feelings. So I can know when I'm burning out or when I'm ignoring my feelings.
I also like to watch the sunrise, it fills me with good vibes and positive thoughts.
I think that, when it comes to being positive, the best thing you can do is doing what you like, so you can think about what are you feeling and also you can relax. If you feel that you need to do something else to feel at ease you can always try new things!
Also, writing an appreciation/gratitude journal can work, 'cause you need to think about the good things that happen through your day and everyday is more easy to find gratitude on the little things.
